Biography Ron Gidron

Ron is the grandson of the painter Samuel Grodzienski (1890 – 1960) – inventor of Artelanism (see Wikipedia) – painting technique with virgin wool yarns dyed with lanolin (up to 10,000 different colors), which he developed in Berlin at the beginning of the 20th century.

Samuel gave his grandson as a gift, PRINCE OF THE SEA miniature painting- which inspired Ron’s first CD with that name in 2003 (and includes the song with the same name). That painting and 120 others by the same painter, can be seen on his website https://www.tamospaya.co/samuelgrodzensky/ and 40 of them are included in the video (see video) made by Alex, son of Ron, with the song Principe del Mar as musical background.

This is the web music creator and literary Ron Gidron Kalka, born in 1946, and since 1960,resident in Madrid Spain.

Its main purposes are to present the creative work of rum and in particular:

This website was conceived after the release of the first cd (double) of rum, in late 2003, calledPrince of the sea, the first public presentation of rum as an artist. With this step, Ron takesconscience leave a musical and cultural legacy that can be enjoyed by many people, known ornot Ron, in the present and in the future, and easily accessible form on the internet.

To achieve this, Ron has been a soundtrack and other possibilities (example: sheet music), forbetter enjoyment of all who visit both this website and their facebook, reverbnation andbandcamp and soundcloud page.

Chronology (Conversely, since 2022)

2021: The independent film director Reyes Caballero from Alicante, uses Ron’s theme “Faith” as the OST for her short video presentation of the Festival of Architecture and Films.

2021: The prestigious dancer and teacher Guillermina de Bedoya uses a dozen of Ron’s piano studies for choreography at her school, for Spanish dance, Bolera style and Classical ballet.

2021: Young Alicante pianist Alex Font plays two of Ron’s compositions at the charity gala for the volcanic eruption of La Palma, on December 16, 2021 in the Fundación Mediterránea auditorium in front of several hundred people. The pieces played are “Pensamientos (Thoughts)” and “En Clave de Tres por Cuatro”.

2021: Ron published two new virtual CDs: The collection of 20 songs considered by Ron as his best compositions, “Ron’s Best” and the CD “Blue Epoque” (Melancholy) that includes the songs of a particularly sad period in Ron’s life, due to two personal losses of close people, following the idea of ​​the “Blue Period” that in English represents these feelings.

2020: Due to the Coronavirus, the recent composition topics are related to the pandemic, and are published in Alicante as performed by the pianist Inés Castillo Serrano. The topics related to the Covid 19 pandemic are published in the 2020-2021 album, with 18 songs edited with the help of the mentioned Alicante pianist Inés Castillo Serrano, who has interpreted them. Ron publishes these new pieces in the Social Media, as “Sonata Covid” and “De-escalation Suite”, as they reflect the atypical feelings of these two years of global pandemic, with themes such as “Quarantine”, “Melancovidia”, Pesacovididilla “,” Stay at home “and “Thoughts”.

2020: The independent filmmaker and director of short films from Alicante, Reyes Caballero, chose two of Ron’s songs as the original soundtrack (OST) of her short “Letters of Love to a Bullfighter” (Tribute to Women Spies). They are “Noches de Ibiza” (instrumental) and “Mata Hari” sung by Inés Alba. The short film has won numerous awards at festivals around the world, from 2020 to 2022.

2020: Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, many of my new compositions are about it, and are being added played on piano by Alicante Pianist Inés Castillo Serrano.

2019: Ron continues with the composition of new themes included on the Web, at the rate of one topic per month.

2018: The first live performance of more than an hour and including 17 songs, a successful evening in front of a full room with 150 people in the Spain – Israel center, after a previous recital of 8 songs in Alicante in July (Populi gardens, by Singer Jasmina Petrovic and pianist Inés Castillo Serrano)

2018: First live musical performance scheduled for November 27, 2018, at the Palacio Cañete in Madrid, headquarters of the Casa Sefarad Israel.

2018: Ron participates in the Zemereshet project (conservation of the Israeli musical heritage until 1960) with 20 songs recovered and played by him (15 already published on the website of this organization https://www.zemereshet.co.il/songs.asp?rndm = 1).

2010: Argentine began collaboration with the musician Sergio González Carducci, also.
